April Crooks – to help keep those lambs in line….

I have just 3 rams horn crooks available to anyone interested. The tallest of these pictured above was made to commission and has sold.

All are the same quality as before, these are Welsh mountain ram horns on hazel shanks. All will show natural imperfections as expected with any natural product but add to the charm on the crooks. Any red markings is blushing and signs of where the rams has been fighting. UK postage and packaging £20 for up to 3 sticks!

Crook April A – a lovely looking crook with signs of blushing. Smaller than standard and would suit a smaller gent or lady. Ideal for country walks, herding ones sheep or walking the dog. Approx 53″ in length – £160.00 RESERVED RL

Crook April B – a beautiful shaped rams horn crook on dark hazel shank measuring approx 52.5″ in length. Slightly smaller again than the usual ones I sell but perfect for the young shepherd, lady or smaller gent. £175 and you will be the talk of the hills! SOLD CL

New crooks ready for the spring time!

After selling out at Christmas I am pleased to say I have new crooks available. Just six horn crooks for now, 4 rams horn crooks and 2 buffalo crooks.

As always each crooks has its own brief description beneath it. All crooks can be shortened if needed and will come with a brass ferrule fitted to the bottom of the shank. These are made from natural products so will have natural imperfections. All crooks are extremely strong and the horn ones are suitable to work with or just for an enjoyable Sunday walk in the hills.

Crook DEC W – Another stunner! This handle is just lovely in the hand, nice and large with a medium weight shank. This shank has quite a taper compared to most giving it a little less weight. The crook some of my followers have been waiting for! A Jacobs rams horn crook on attractive hazel shank with ox horn spacer. A smaller crook measuring 50″ in height with a smaller handle. It’s that time of the year again when I get an influx of enquiries for stick and crooks for Christmas. Well, I’m pleased to say I have a great selection of crooks in rams horn, buffalo horn and lovely burr wood here for sale. As always each crooks has its own description beneath it. All sticks can be shortened if needed and will come with a brass ferrule fitted. These are natural products so will have natural imperfections. All crooks are extremely strong and the horn ones are suitable to work with. Personally I feel the wooden ones are too weak for catching sheep with and more suitable for leisurely countryside pursuits.

Looking for a lovely shepherds crook for walking and country pursuits to give to your loved one this Christmas, I have some fabulous wooden crooks here for sale. Sorry they are not photographed so elegantly as normal but the images in the gallery will give you a good idea. All crooks are photographed on both sides as usual and are approx 51″-53″ in length. All crooks can be cut to length and a ferrule fitted before posting. I would not use these to wrestle livestock with for fear of damaging the handle.
